I have an over abundance of Tomatoes from the garden... I never thought I would
ever admit this, but I am getting pretty sick of tomatoes. Here are 12 ways to
eat raw tomatoes.
1. Tomatoes sliced (with salt & Pepper)
2.
Tomatoes w/cottage cheese & pepper
3. Tomatoes w/ balsamic vinegar
drizzled on them
4. Tomatoes w/ Mayonnaise spread on them (& pepper)
5. Tomato sandwich
6. Tomato & Cheese sandwich
7. Tomato stuffed
with tuna (salad) and sprinkled with dill
8 Tomato stuffed with chicken
salad
9. Tomatoes chopped and mixed with chopped olives, garlic and a little
olive oil (spread this on crackers~YUM)
10. Tomatoes sliced on scrambled
eggs
11. Tomatoes sliced on a hamburger patty
12. Tomatoes sliced on your
favorite sandwich.. (maybe not peanut butter)
I really do love tomatoes
and am glad they came on so well in the garden. Any other ideas out there using
tomatoes?

Spring Veggie Saute'
Here is my Fabulous & Frugal veggie saute'
It has green zucchini's, yellow zucchini's mushrooms, and onion. It is drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with a little salt and a dash of pepper. This is so good by itself or you can eat it over rice.
I am so looking forward to the spring and summer vegetables.

Frugal Dieting
Ah, yes it is that time of year for me to think about slimming down, after this bitter cold, and full of snow winter that we had. I wintered well.... gained 13 pounds. I know it will be easier to drop some of it too as soon as the weather is nicer. I like to be outside, gardening, and working in the yard and going for walks. In the meantime, I have cut back on my calories and upped my fiber intake. I have been eating a lot of the Progresso Light Soup, my favorite is the Italian Garden Vegetable, Zero Points on Weight Watchers. Ok, also I have been eating the Laughing Cow Cheese and the Extra Fiber Wheat Thins. Then, the rest of the time I have been eating apples, bananas, oranges, carrots, and those snap pea pods. I guess I am sort of rambling here.... but where I wanted to go was to the Websites of National Brands that I have been consuming, I was under the impression that if you visit their websites you can get coupons. Well I could not find any place on sites to get coupons....so I am perplexed. I check out the Sunday paper coupons, and will definitely keep any eye out for coupons for my favorite diet foods.
I have also discovered that reading labels and checking the fiber, calories and fat in each item has really been an eye opener.
I have only lost 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks, but I just know that Spring is coming and it will be much easier for me to eat healthier and lighter.... and hopefully keep dropping pounds.

Frugal Dieting
Check out the Jillian Michaels website. All kinds of free tips and weight loss foods and recipes, and drinks as well as excercises to boost metabolism. I see no point in spending money on diet programs when you can essentially get the same info for free via the web.
