What's In Your Wallet?
My frugal life has apparently left me watching too much TV because I am soooo sick of the Capital One commercials. You know the ones... where the neanderthals run around pillaging in furs and chains with their medieval looking swords, and balls with spikes on chains, encouraging everyone to charge everything in site so that you can get rewards back.
Have these neanderthals checked the interest rates of Capital One lately? I am telling you, don't be a NEANDERTHAL, and put that credit card away. Better yet, cut it up and pay it off. You will money ahead.

2011 Tax Breaks
Ok.... the tax laws have been all over the news for about the last month now. I have decided that if in fact I end up getting a little more on my paychecks beginning in 2011, I am going to use 1/2 of whatever it may be, for my savings account and the other 1/2 for my credit card debt. Currently I am making some headway on my credit card debt... I have 2 cards that will be paid off in January and that 60.00 that I am currently using on those cards will go to the balance of the next card on my list. I am using the snowball effect. I am super happy and actually elated, because I am beginning to really see the efforts of 2 years of total Frugal Living, and I am really starting to feel accomplished. I am really looking forward to 2011, especially with my goals in place.

I No Longer Carry My Credit Cards In My Purse
I feel as though I have a made a positive step....It may be a baby step but trust me baby, it is a positive step. Over the weekend my zipper broke on my purse (which I will be doing some research on because it is a Coach) and I have cleaned out everything that I was carrying in that doctors bag, and when I switched to the new/old purse, I did not include my credit cards. I figure that I no longer want to add debt to the cards that I am trying to reduce and/or get paid off. I know this will be weird to get used to, but I figure with a little planning and determination, after a month or so I will not miss them. It is a goal of mine to have my two smaller limit credit cards paid off by the end of the year. Send me any tips or ideas that you use for not adding debt back onto your credit cards. Have a Fabulous & Frugal Day!!!
